US Election Day PSA

A note to all of my American IT brethren who are working, speaking at, or otherwise attending Tech Ed EMEA IT Pro from Monday November 3 - Friday November 7th, or any other industry events that are happening during that week:

Remember that you need to file an absentee ballot for the Tuesday November 4th General Election!

(In Pennsylvania, this means that my ballot must be post-marked by the Tuesday before election day. Check your local listings, yadda yadda ya.)

For the purpose of this post, I give not a rat's patootie whom you're voting for¹, merely that my friends and readers at large don't realize too late that they're going to be out of town on a fairly crucial day.

[1] Be advised that any comments left either proselytizing for or denigrating against either candidate will be moderated directly to /dev/null (which I don't usually do). That's not why I'm speaking up, so just make a note of the date if you're going to be out of town, and don't be mean. :-)
