It's the little things.
Tuesday, June 3, 2008 at 10:44AM I just noticed that when you single-click on a filename in Vista to do a rename, the highlight focus auto-excludes the .???? file extension so that you only actually need to re-type the name. Given that 99% of my (and I would imagine most) file renames leave the extension in-place, this teeny UI change saves 4-5 keystrokes per rename.
I'm sure this is old news to everyone who isn't me, but I thought it was slick.
