    A note to all city dwellers visiting Redmond.

    The traffic lights here seem programmed to be "pedestrian-friendly". At least, that's what I presume is going on, based on the following:

    If you don't actually push the "I want to go this way" button while stood at the intersection? IT WILL NEVER BE YOUR TURN TO GO! (And yes, you will simply stand there looking like a yutz.)

    Yep, lost about 8 minutes today muttering "Is it ever actually my turn here, or what?" before I remembered that.

    In other news, between the morning run and the walk to and from the movie theatre to see The Dark Knight (more on that later, for now let me just say that it may be the single most perfect movie I've seen since the LotR trilogy (which, like the book that spawned it, I consider to be one long movie chopped up into 3 segments)), I've clocked about 10 miles on foot today. Time for a nap, methinks.
