New movie trailers

So, being the summer blockbuster that it was, Dark Knight included a number of new movie previews:

• The next Daniel Craig James Bond. Looks about as dark as the last one. Laura is totally amped.
• Watchmen. Oh man, I just don't know. It would be like making a "Sandman" movie...I want it to be really good, but...I just don't know if it's going to be. Part of the problem is that Alan Moore's work is probably The. Definitive. Work. in the graphic novel format, so it's got a rabid fan-base and a lot to live up to.
• Random Russell Crowe vehicle directed by Ridley Scott, co-staring Leonardo DiCaprio. Crowe/Scott is usually a good pairing, so it'll probably be decent.
• New Terminator movie, in the era of John Connor as an adult leading the resistance. Christian Bale[1] as John Connor. Could be meat, could be cake.

[1] We discussed this last night and I made a comment that "Christian Bale has never made a bad movie." I have since remembered "Reign of Fire", so that's not entirely true. Reason I forgot "Reign"? Is that it really really really should! have been an awesome fracking movie. I mean, dragons and assault helicopters in the same movie as Christian Bale, how much better could it have gotten?  ...a lot better, as it turns out.
