The Universe conspires against me, once again...

First, consider the amount of sheer dreck that's populating the television airwaves[1] this summer.

Next, consider that there are precisely three summer programs that I consider worth my viewing time: The Closer, Burn Notice, and Flashpoint.[2]

Now, combine this information and ask yourself: what are the odds that the networks will put two of these three programs on...

     ...in the same fracking time-slot!

[1] Yes, I know, everything's digital and there aren't any "airwaves" anymore. Stop being pedantic, that's my job.

[2] It's a new show, but not really. It's just "The Unit", with an LA S.W.A.T. team rather than US Special Forces operators.
