Had someone done so, the following conversation would have taken place in my home sometime before it became a crisis today:

"I say, Mother? I have not been able to pee in the last 36 hours, and the elevated potassium levels in my bloodstream are creating a cardiac arrhythmia and threatening to box my kidneys. Might we make a visit to Herr Doktor?
