Windows 7

Having rolled off of a 4-month client engagement, I shall now spend my down day loading Windows 7 on my laptop.

It seems that all the cool kids are doing it, so I suppose it's time for me to follow suit. Data backups are your friend, and all that.

Sofar so good, after an abortive "start over" moment having loaded a freeware ISO mounter that the Win7 shell clearly did not approve of and kept hard-locking after having installed.

On take two, sofar just a few little niggledy things - MSN Messenger keeps "forgetting" which group my connections are in, the "Copy File" UI doesn't seem to approve of trying to do multiple copy operations simultaneously.

But I like the Siamese Fighting Fish. :-)
