    Truth in advertising.

So on the way down to SEA-TAC this morning, I was hungry for breakfast and stopped at one of my guilty-pleasure restaurants, the International House of Pancakes.

Haven’t been there in awhile (not since my last long-term visit to Redmond, come to think of it, as it was the same IHOP on 148th Ave.), and was surprised to see that they’ve started printing nutritional information on their menus – calorie count, carb count, sodium and sat. fat count.

    Oh.

    My.

    God.

Let’s just say that calorie counts that were three digits in length instead of four? Were the exception, rather than the rule.

The frequency with which I remember eating there as a kid/teenager/while in my 20’s…now officially nauseates me.

I think I can never eat there again.
