I think a lot of places are still at XP/2003.

The push when Windows 7/Windows 2008 R2 is released is going to be huge and a lot of work for years to come (I hope). The economy has to turn around too but that will come.

I do disagree with Mark about complex passwords. At this point people use them for online services like their credit cards and banking so is it still confusing to them?

I went to Mark's 2003 class a few years back and we talked about it then too.

The TechEd 2009 DVDs should be really good, I'll be getting them for sure.

Talk to you later

Mike

Ryan comments on Technet Tiki Hut Tour - Philadelphia

Thanks for all the great information you shared. My group really enjoyed the entire day. Eric was outstanding!! I could have listened to him all day long. He would make a great college professor. I'll probably have an entry in my blog about what I picked up from Eric.

I also really liked Brandon and just meeting everyone that I only knew through usernames and/or email addresses.

I see the next one is on October 17th. Unfortunately Metallica decided to play in VA that day and I already have tickets so I won't make that one but I'll be there next April for sure.

For anyone that didn't go you missed a lot of great information and you should definitely go in the future.

Mike Kline comments on 10 Days Left 'til Philly Code Camp!

Hotel rooms are booked; we have three coming up in our group.

I also had some people in the PA area respond to me after I sent out the email to the Microsoft distro in my company and hopefully they can make it too.

I'm going to print out all the unanswered questions from EE and bring it to the table then go get the points haha -- just kidding of course.

Should be a very good event!!
